Coming into McAllen, TX Mike ended up on the sweeper for some electrical issues. Luckily, they were able to fix it and he was able to ride the last 99 miles. Larry ran out of gas, surprise surprise, but a Good Samaritan and Joe Sparrow came to the rescue! The random Good Samaritan was at the Desperado Harley Davidson and Larry was ecstatic to tell the story and thank the guy, Paul. We gave him a can coozie as a token of our appreciation.
As they worked on their bikes, I took out my stitches
And right after that Jared picked me up for a short motorcycle ride!
The next morning the guys were off on their bikes for 99 miles for the finale!
