Polar Vortex 2

Okay!! Ladies and Gents the videos should be visible! And let me tell you, this was no easy task. It took blood, sweat and tears. Okay, maybe just the last. Plus some swear words. But, though some jumps and hurdles this Queen has figured it out.

Because of my frustration with that ONE post. I think I will take a break for right now. Considering it took me like three hours. Piss on that. Thats stupid. Hopefully I will get more up later today!

Polar Vortex

Most of you live in the Midwest so you know there is this crazy cold weather. Well on top of that I am going cRaZZZy being stuck in the house, barely being able to do anything. I have sprain my ankle and it has limited me significantly. You would think I would take the time to do more on here, but for some reason that hasn't happened. So I apologize. But now I have some motivation and thought I would share some videos.

The reason Mike did the Cannonball:

This was when we (Mom and I) first met the Irish men.

For the record I now remember why I haven't been able to get these posts done. Every time I get started my cat lays on my chest and starts purring and blocks the computer. Well, how do you say no to that?! I'll work around her for now. 

This is the cool contraption we came up with so that there was noway the top of the direction case was coming off. I say cool because...I was the brains behind the operation.

 This is Mary explaining that she is only here for all things butts related. I will let you take that how you want to.

In this video Charlie is surprised that I wanted to come on the trip because his daughter would never want to do something like this. Mike refers to me as always being "special". 

Some one had mentioned that Minnesota has like one good month of motorcycle riding, so Mike is explaining how there are times when you can see motorcycles and snowmobiles going at the same time. 

As mom would say, Mike was insistent on getting this furry seat cover to wear because it wicks away water and is cushioned and all this great stuff. Guess how many times he used it?  You got it...not once.

 

 The younger guy with the nice hair his name is Mike. Later in the trip we, as a group rename him "magic" because him and I starting hanging out and it got too complicated with two Mikes, which ya'll have already read about. Anyway, he's been fixing motorcycles for awhile and he was just helping Ricky Bobby, and needed some hairspray which Mom had, and this is just some of the conversations that happened. 

Now, this guy Ricky Bobby (and yes this is his name..he also goes by RB) is an interesting fellow. this was in the video, but it's worthy of reviewing because we laughed our asses off for days about this. He was telling us about a crash he had, and then some how got on the topic of how he "shits out of a hole in his back" Enjoy my friends.

My weather app says it feels like -51 currently. So, I'm not going outside. So I think I will continue to go through my videos/photos and see what else I can rummage up. I hope everyone is safe and warm!

I'm baaaaaack!

Hello all my favorite people!!

I know I took a little bit of a hiatus. Okay,  a long hiatus. But the end result, in my opinion, is well worth it.

Before I get to that, I am hoping to get more pictures, and videos posted to the blog. I have kept ya'll in the dark and I am SORRY.

During the Cannonball, I decided that I wanted to make Mike a video of the Cannonball to remember it. I enjoy taking pictures and videos to remember special moments. Obviously, it's all about enjoying things while they are happening, but capturing pictures and videos is a great way enjoy or reminisce on those memories later on... like right meow.

It's an hour long. It took a buttload of time to make. It started with deciding how I wanted to go about the video. Then I had to decide which of the videos I wanted to use, then edit them down to small versions. Then I had to go pick the photos I wanted to. I had to figure out some of the beginning pictures and what order they went in. I wasn't apart of them, and it was found to be tricky because I was working nights and was on a roll. Plus figuring out which day and location each picture and video were from. From there I figured which transitions I wanted to use. Lastly, I had to figure out music. If you know Mike, you know he enjoys music. This was no easy task. I had to come up with the perfect songs. I decided to bring in some reinforcements. My friend Andrea, who works for a popular Classical Radio station KQRS -- check them out!!! Along with Tony and John. But it wasn't just about throwing music over the whole thing, there were also videos with audio to take into account and blah blah blah. I'm just going off on a ramble because IT WAS A LOT OF WORK. But it was well worth it. At least, I think so.
