It has been a long and tiring road, but Mike, Linda and Brianna have made it to Portland, Maine. In 30 hours they traveled 22 hours and went through 10 states and made a stop in New Jersey.
In New Jersey they stopped to have someone look at "Niny" to make her run just a little bit better. Luckily, this took about three seconds and Linda could see the weight come off of Mikes shoulders. Although, he would deny this, liking to play stoic, but the wife knows best. They met fellow Cannonballers who were welcoming and fun to get to know. They look forward to seeing them in the next day or two.
The journey continued to Maine. While they heard the rain was heavy in Minnesota, the sun shined bright on the East coast. But don't you fret they hit what felt like a Tsunami in Wisconsin. They were able to see some neighborhoods in New Jersey and either New Hampshire or Maine (not 100% sure which state they were actually in at that point), the towns were unique and quaint. They were pleasantly surprised by how hilly the East Coast is. So far, a beautiful place!
They anxiously wait the arrival of the rest of the support crew!
Well, to say the least, they are pooped. Off to bed so they can explore in the AM.
